After many travels, Hadia will be settling back into summer in Nova Scotia with her massage therapy practice. Sadira is taking this opportunity to bring Hadia back to Dieppe for an exciting “Oriental and Folklore Workshop Weekend” taking place June 23/24. You are invited to join this workshop and learn more about the folklore aspects of this dance and it's culture. We may be using canes. You can youtube more on cane dance if you search for "Raks Assaya" or "Saiidi".

Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 12pm; and 1pm - 3:30pm.

Full weekend workshop paid in full before June 12, 2012...... $140 Full weekend workshop paid in full on or after June 12, 2012...... $160

One-day workshop paid in full before June 12, 2012...... $85 One-day workshop paid in full on or after June 12, 2012...... $95

Both days, we will begin with 2 hours of technique in the morning, followed by 2.5 hours of choreography after lunch. Our song will be Diamond In The Rough by Hossam Ramzy PLUS Raqs Assaya (Egyptian Cane Dance).

The 6th Annual Belly Dance  Extravaganza with Ahubrey Hill!

July 28-29 in Bridgetown, NS

Aubrey Hill has a huge variety of offerings - she does so many styles and techniques, it is hard to choose which ones to offer! The workshop in Bridgetown is perfect both for dancers who are just beginning, and for those who have some experience-- it is small and intimate, and loads of fun.
